ezGear has announced that their ezSkin silicone cases for iPod nano (3G) and iPod classic ($25-$30) will begin shipping later this month. An iPod touch version ($30) is due to ship in October. Their ezView leather case for iPod classic (160GB, $40) is shipping now, with versions for 80GB iPod classic, iPod nano (3G), and iPod touch (all $40/ea.) shipping in October.

We really have a hard time believing that many early iPhone buyers are upset about the price drop. If on June 29th Apple had said the price would be lowered $200 in September, would you have waited?

As many had predicted, Steve Jobs just announced the iPod touch with an iPhone-like form factor and multi-touch interface. iPod touch also includes WiFi. Available in a few weeks, 8GB ($299) and 16GB ($399) versions.

He also announced iPod classic, all metal with a new interface (to match iPod nano 3G.) Includes Cover Flow, available today in 80GB ($249) and 160GB ($349) versions.

Steve Jobs has just announced the iPod nano 3G. It incorporates a 2-inch, high resolution screen which accounts for the shorter, wider form factor. Available this weekend in 4GB (silver only) and 8GB models for $149 and $199 respectively.

GizMac is offering a discount on their Titan Clear iPod case if you trade-in a competitors case. The "Replace Your Case" promotion starts August 17 and runs through the end of the month:
