I thought I'd pass along this little piece of information. Previously, Griffin was listing the ship date for the iTrip for 3rd generation docking iPod's as July 21, 2003. Recently, Griffin's website changed this to "shipping soon." As I've recently pre-ordered an iTrip for my 30 gig iPod, I'm eagerly anticipating this release. Upon calling the company today for clarification on this change, a representative confirmed that there has in fact been a delay, and now shipping is expected somewhere towards the end of September. Upon further prodding, the representative revealed that the delay was due to "political reasons," without delving into specifics, and not technological issues. Just thought I'd pass this little tidbit along to your readers. Have a good day!
