Sophomores at the University of Western Australia will be able to borrow an iPod for use in their studies:
UWA multimedia centre student projects officer Leitha Delves said the students were testing methods of teaching digital media.
"Storing a student's project on one computer means only that particular computer is available to the student for working on the project," she said.
"Having the project on an iPod, which the student can plug into any computer, means that potentially any one of our 30 computers is available to the student."

Re: iPods For Education
I remember a while ago that I saw an article about how great it was that students were getting laptops. I saw an article a few weeks later basically going on about how they were only using the laptops to instant message in classes, pirate software/music/movies, and download pornography.
I expect a sequel article to this going on about how music piracy at the school tenfolds. KICKIN' RAD!
